The Futures Past

With my eyes looking forward I see something that I never thought would be there. With words I don’t even know how to begin to describe what I see...Its something that everyone longs for, but as time goes on, the percentage of people that actually get it declines. An "alter ego" is desired by everyone, but only a selected few actually ever find it. I hate always using lines and examples from movies, but... I watched City of Angels last night, no matter how you feel about the film, if you are a romantic you have to admit that the whole plot was to die for. (no pun intended) A man so in love with a woman gave up everything he had, even though he only truly had a few hours with her, because she sadly died. But he didn’t regret one second of it. Some of his last words were, I would rather of had one breath of her hair, one taste of her kiss, one touch of her hand...then an eternity without it, ONE. When I look in front of me, I see what appears to be an angel, beautiful and bright. Its so desirable that I never want to close my eyes in fear that it might all be a dream, and if I close them, it will disappear. (insert here - Aerosmith's -I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing)

The first round on this playground that we call life, rarely works out how we always dreamed it would as a child. But serendipity usually takes place and happiness almost always finds its way into our lives. The sad thing is a lot of us were cursed to go more then one round with the end result of many scars and bruises. But for most of us, that is a blessing because when we finally do find that happiness we cherish it more because we earned it.

Serendipity has been the theme of my life. I have loved and I have lost. I have cherished and I have despised. But with my eyes forward, I know that I have never loved or cherished anything more then what I do now. Have patience, diligence, endurance…and happiness will come to all. It will come to those who don’t pursue after it. You have to want it, but you have to have the patience for it to come to you.

Promiscuous

Well I stayed up til about 5 a.m. watching movies. I watched Lucky Number Slevin and then Hostel. Hostel sucked but Lucky Number Slevin was awesomely original and I loved it. Just when you think you have it all figured out it does something like The Usual Suspects on ya. Wild fun. I also have a new song that I cant get out of my head here lately...Apologize by One Republic, great song and great group.

So what have I been up to lately...well...besides being promiscuous muahaha, not a whole lot. Working and working out thats about the main thing. I went on a sort of date yesterday. It went ok...She was really pretty, older then me *always* a plus, and she's the daughter of of a VERY rich family...hahahaha, another *major* plus. Not that me, Christopher, would ever get with a girl because of money...hahahahahahaha. BMW here I come. Yeah anyways, so next weekend we are going to go and play golf, that should be interesting.

I went to the golf range after our date yesterday and hit a bucket of balls....havent lost a thing, I still got. My first ball went flying up to the 300 yard marker. The second one went right on by it. I love that feeling. Great game, it you havent ever learned I suggest you try.

Anyway, well I'm bored and my parents are watching Lucky Number Slevin so thats what I'm going to do until I go to the gym....adios.

What......

Me, I'm one that loves holidays. Christmas, Thanksgiving, Independance Day, all of them...but...Columbus Day?!?! Now I realize its not really a holiday, but the government still recognizes it as one because they take off. Now...let me get this straight. A man takes three ships and sets sail for INDIA. He lands in America. He got the wrong freaking country and yet he still gets a whole day in his name. Thats messed up. Now on that subject...THEY ARENT INDIANS...quit calling them that, they are native americans. Indians live in India. Stupid Columbus.

Now, am I the only one that notices this or am I not alone...in the movies and t.v. shows (mainly t.v.) when there is a driving scence, that steering wheel seems to be EXTREMELY loose while they are driving a *straight* line. Their hands are just moving back and forth like they are on an obstacle course, yet they arent swerving a bit. That drives me nuts to watch that.

So I went to Wal-Mart yesterday and I bought my first round of Halloween candy. mmmmm I ended up getting like 45 dollars worth of candy. Awwww I just love halloween. So on another subject...David Hasselhoff, muahahahahaha, have you heard his new song, Jump In My Car. Its brand new yet its done like its 20 years old. The music video is him driving around in KIT. Holy cow, is this guy really that hard up for money. I still cant get the sight of him running up the beach out of my head....ewww.

Well I am going to go watch some cartoons I think. I feel like watching some Bug Bunny or maybe some Angry Beavers. Havent really decided yet. Ok well, hope all is well with everyone. Adios.
