Caramel Pecan Pie
This is my own favorite recipe. I hope that you enjoy it as much as I do!
You will need the following:
45 - 50 Caramels
1/4 cup milk
1/4 margarine
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
3 eggs
1 1/2 cups of pecans
1 deep dish pie crust
Melt the caramels with milk and margarine in sauce pan over low heat. Stir occasionaly until smooth.
Combine sugar, salt, and eggs in a small bowl. Mix well then gradually add into caramel sauce. Stir in pecans. Mix well then pour into pie crust. Dont over fill pie crust.
Bake at 350 degrees for 40 - 45 minutes or until golden brown on top. Let pie cool for at least 4 hours. Contents will not be hardened and is very messy, but very good. Best served with cool whip or ice cream.
