Hypocrisy

Churches and Religon in General. This is just irritating me to no end. I'm not going to talk about a certain church or religon, but i'm going to use mine as examples in what I talk about. I dont need to specify a church or religon because they all do what i'm about to talk about. I am a member of The Church of Christ. I'm not going into why I am a member there because thats not what this post is about. This post is about the Legalism and hypocritical acts of the churches today. There is no perfect church out there, you show me one and i'll join, no matter what religon. I grew up with the teaching that if you dont use the Old King James your going to Hell. In religon, being conservative is good, but being fascist is just as bad as being liberal. Telling a kid that he's going to hell because his shorts are a millimeter too short is not the way to go about things. There are two churches in my town. They used to be one, but they split over 20 years ago. Did you read that right, 20 years. The church I grew up in has a grudge against the other and has no desire to try and mend that relationship. Families have been split apart. The church I grew up in is Legalistic and thinks that they are perfect in every way. They are too busy criticizing everyone else that they dont see their own faults. Its not up to us who's going to heaven or hell, its up to God. Quit with the criticizism, and the judging others, let go of the grudges, kiss and make up, that or shut up.
